Lachlan Brown is a co-founder of Brown Brothers Media. He leads content operations and publishing strategy across the network.

Lachlan grew up in Melbourne and completed a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies at Deakin University. He has spent the past decade and a half writing and editing on practical psychology, mindfulness, and Buddhist philosophy.

Before Brown Brothers Media, Lachlan founded Hack Spirit, a publication on practical personal development drawing on mindfulness, Buddhist principles, and relationship psychology. Hack Spirit became one of the company’s foundational properties when Brown Brothers Media was formed in 2020.

He is the author of Hidden Secrets of Buddhism: How To Live With Maximum Impact and Minimum Ego.

At Brown Brothers Media, Lachlan oversees editorial operations across the network’s publications, which span human behavior, technology, food, culture, law, and space. His writing focuses on the psychology of everyday life, communication, and self-development.

Lachlan lives between Singapore and Saigon with his wife.
